Today more than ever before in our history the development of knowledge workers" with cross-functional work skill is rapidly evolving into the key underpinning of a successful logistic enterprise. A good understanding of the element of logistics and supply chain management and the ability to relate them to cost and service are today essential ingredients for corporate survival. It points an organization in the right direction to reduce cost, improve service and competitiveness.

To implement and maintain any of these strategies, companies need managers and staff with a thorough understanding of logistics and supply chain management.

As a new discipline, there is limited opportunity for such personnel to acquire this knowledge in regular academy environment. To bridge the gap therefore, NITT and MULTIMIX EXPORT ACADEMY drawing from industry experts and knowledge centres, now offers post Graduate Diploma programmes on Logistics and supply Chain management.

DIPLOMA IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE BY CORRESPONDENCE

 

Introduction 


This certificate programme in International Trade is being introduced to provide you with a wider range of options in international trade knowledge and prepare you for future career in the global village. 
The aim of the program is to satisfy the growing need for training in import and export practices and procedures. The necessity for such a certificate program has increased due to the changing international economic climate and increasing access to overseas markets especially markets in America, Europe and Africa where great possibilities exist for local entrepreneurs. The programme has been uniquely packaged in three modules with the same quality seal of Nigeria's Leading Export/Import Training Academy.

 

About the Programme:

·         Absolute flexibility (you can take on the three modules or one after the other at your own time)

·         No class contact whatsoever

·         Tele-class available to explain any points to students individually or by E-mail

·         You can run this course from any part of Nigeria

·         All exams are OPEN BOOK (you receive questions by mail or e-mail and send scripts by same.

·         It will qualify you for the IIEI courses.

·         It will carry exemptions in other Academy programmes

·         Certificate: will be awarded after the completion of the 3 modules.

Evaluation 


Students will be assessed by means of assignments and a formal examination. One examination paper will be written for each module. The examinations are Open Book (i.e. You invigilate yourself.) Note: the examination will be practical such that you can hardly pass if you have not studied the module.
